Chapter 4: BIOS Setup
4.5.2 Hardware Monitor
MB Temperature [xxxC/xxxF]
CPU Temperature [xxxC/xxxF]
POWER Temperature [N/A]
The onboard hardware monitor automatically detects the motherboard and
CPU temperatures. If your power supply comes with a two-pin thermal
sensor cable, connect this cable to the PWRTMP connector on the
motherboard so BIOS can auto-detect the power supply temperature. See
page 2-32 for the connector location. The POWER Temperature item
shows [N/A] if you do not have the appropriate power supply.
CPU Fan Speed [xxxxRPM]
Chassis Fan Speed [xxxxRPM)
Power Fan Speed [xxxxRPM]
The onboard hardware monitor automatically detects the CPU, chassis,
and power fan speeds in rotations per minute (RPM).
VCORE Voltage, +3.3V Voltage, +5V Voltage, +12V Voltage
The onboard hardware monitor automatically detects the voltage output
through the onboard voltage regulators.
If any of the monitored items is out of range, the following error
message appears: “Hardware Monitor found an error. Enter Power
setup menu for details”. You will then be prompted to “Press F1 to
continue or DEL to enter SETUP”.
