USB allows you to charge mobile devices via your ASUS
Notebook PC’s USB charge port..
•
If your connected device overheats, remove it immediately.
•
For some ASUS Notebook PCs , you can also use the USB
while on sleep, hibernate or shutdown mode.
Using USB on Battery Mode
The USB Settings allows you to set the USB limit
when your ASUS Notebook PC is running on battery power. You can
also use this to allow you to charge devices while your Notebook PC
is on sleep, hibernate,or shutdown mode.
To use the settings:
1. Right-click on the USB icon on the desktop tray, then
click Settings.
Instant On
Instant On is a default-enabled feature in your ASUS Notebook PC
that allows you to put your ASUS Notebook PC on Deep S3 status.
Deep S3 is a technology that lets you save more battery power while
your ASUS Notebook PC is on sleep mode. Deep S3 also allows you
to return to your last working state in two seconds.
To disable this feature, select
Disable
from the Instant On menu.
