3.1 Remove/Install a CD-ROM Drive
The 1U server supports a slim CD-ROM drive. The CD-ROM drive is
already installed in the chassis. If you have to remove and re-install
the drive in the future, refer to the instructions in this section.
The slim CD-ROM drive is on top of the HDD0 bay (leftmost bay when
you are facing the front panel).

The slim CD-ROM drive includes
an adapter board with a special
connector that matches the
connector at the back of the slim
CD-ROM drive. Two screw holes
are available for securing the
board to the drive.
On the other side of the adapter
board, a power connector and a
standard IDE connector are
available.
