6.3.35 CECT 11.2.13 Remote Control Pass Through
When “ALL TEST” is selected, the tests for the test IDs are started. When a test ID number is clicked with the
mouse, only the selected test is started. The procedures for the tests performed with the VA-1842 are shown
below.

Connect the HDMI output of the DUT and the input of the TE. Then perform the tests.
11.2.13-1 Send <User Control Pressed>.
Send <User Control Released>.
Perform the test for 4 keys that are supported.
DUT operates in the same way as when local
remote control keys are pressed.
11.2.13-2 Check that the DUT is in the mode in which pressing
and holding down a key can be detected.
Send <User Control Pressed> for 10 seconds every
450 ms.
Send <User Control Released>.
DUT performs the press and hold operation
and then stops after 10 seconds.

and holding down a key can be detected.
Send <User Control Pressed> for 10 seconds every
450 ms.
Do not send <User Control Released> at the end.
DUT performs the press and hold operation
and then stops after 10 seconds.

and holding down a key can be detected.
Send <User Control Pressed> for 10 seconds every
450 ms.
Send <User Control Pressed> with the next
supported [UI Command] after the sent [UI
Command].
DUT performs the press and hold operation
and then stops after 10 seconds.
