7) [3 Peel Throw]
● Make the desired setting based on the type, size and skin thickness of the item to be peeled.
The centrifugal
force on small
items is small.
1. Peeling small items
On small items there is less force to “throw” (eject) the peeling, so set
the Peel Throw setting to “Yes.”
If you set the Skin Throw to “None”, there is the chance that the peeled skin will
foul the peeling operation.
The rotation speed at the beginning of peeling becomes the maximum
speed, so a burden is imposed on item being peeled. May not work well
for item to peel that are soft and without a core.

2. Peeling large items
Since larger items have more outside inertia, the Skin Throw can be set
to “None.”
If the spin speed is too low, the peeled skin may foul the peeling opera-
tion.

● When peeling fruit with an inner skin (albedo), set the option to “None – half pass” or “None – 1 pass”.
● The peeler can be set up with the menu and blade to remove deeper layers of skin (albedo)
For these items choose “None – half pass” or, if necessary, “None – 1 pass.”
