Organising absences from the desk
This section explains the different options provided by your phone when you
want to leave your desk.
Forwarding calls (Call forwarding)
You want to leave your desk. Calls for you are to be forwarded to a different destina-
tion (e.g. phone, voice mail, pager).
With call forwarding you can forward incoming calls directly to a different destination.
Notes:
• In the one-number user concept a forwarding applies to all connected phones.
• Only one forwarding variant at a time is possible.

Notes:
• You can also search in the phone book, last-number redial list or call list for
the phone number of the person you are looking for.
• If a call is to be forwarded only when you are already in a call, select
Forward-
ing if busy

Voice Mail

) or to a
Message
(see Chapter
page
).
• Use the Info key > softkey
Reset
to deactivate the forwarding.
