Temperature pulls up above controller set
point.

Control satisfactory but at incorrect
temperature.

Heater energized continuously. If
allowed to operate in this condition,
chamber and contents may be damaged.

Vibration or noise.

Circulation fan motor running rough.
1a. Temperature controller out of calibration.
REMEDY: Calibrate controller.
2a. Defective Temperature controller.
REMEDY: Replace controller.
2b. Defective relay (applies only to models
having relays.)
REMEDY: Replace relay.
2c. Heater shorted to ground.
REMEDY: Determine ground and correct
1a. Fan blade unbalanced or damaged.
REMEDY: Add balance weights or replace
fan blade.
1b. Fan motor shaft bent.
REMEDY: Replace fan motor and blade.
1c. Fan shaft rubbing or fan blade hitting.
REMEDY: Center fan motor and provide
ample running.
1d. Fan motor mount bracket loose.
REMEDY: Tighten mounting screws.
1e. Moisture on fan blade.
REMEDY: See I-1.
