4 Installation and commissioning
4.1 General installation instructions
There are many possible combinations for
KESO Genie BS
and EX-BS. Chapter „4.5 Montagebeispiele“,
Seite 32 shows the installation of the 2 most common combinations using installation examples.
Compatibility with electronics
The electronics are intended for the following purposes:
· For battery operation, use electronics EG.707.
· For electricity operation, use electronics EG.708.
· For battery operation under the stainless steel security long escutcheon, use electronics EK.015.

Installation according to supplementary sheet for installation of a mechanical cylinder
Impor tant!
Risk of material damage due to impacts and pressure.
· Install the cylinder with care and do not use striking tools.
· Do not drop the cylinder.
