ESA500 and ESA501 Premium electronic door fittings
General
The ESA 500 / ESA 501 electronic door fitting is a door fitting with a keypad for
entering access codes which is typically used for interior doors with a European
(DIN) mortise lock. The
ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is an advancement
of the successful Aperio™ door fitting series E100 / E100P .
A 3 V battery inside the door fitting serves as power supply. No cables have to be
laid.
The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is available in the versions “Standard”
and “Premium.” The “Premium” is suitable for external doors and offers the
properties of the “Standard” version combined with increased security and is also
suitable for fire doors and escape routes.
Functions
The door is opened from the outside by entering an authorized door code. The
door can be opened directly from the inside, the door handle is permanently
released.
The ESA500 offers electronic door fitting
· Usage category 2 in accordance with DIN EN 1906,
· Access control via door codes,
· four or six digit door codes,
· management of up to 30 pin codes,
· security-related electronics inside the fitting,
· access authorization check in the door fitting,
· LED (red / green / orange) for status display,
· wide range of release options through office, hotel and carrier function,
· variable temporary release interval for barrier-free door access
· single-side panic function through permanently released inside door handle.
The ESA501 Premium electronic door fitting also offers
Based on the Aperio™ E100P fitting with the same design, the ESA501 Premium also
offers:
· Usage category 3 in accordance with DIN EN 1906,
· Approval for fire doors according to DIN 18273,
· Approval for escape routes according to DIN EN 179,
· can also be installed in external doors.
