Multi-point lock 319 with B-function and es-
cape door function
The
multi-point lock 319
with B-function (“B-
function (changeover function)”, page 33) and
escape door function requires a panic fitting
· with split handle pin and
· door handle supported in the escutcheons for
rotation on both sides in accordance with DIN
EN 179.
The length of the handle pin depends on
· the door leaf thickness,
· the horizontal lock position, and
· the necessary depth of engagement in the door
handle (Pic. 8).
The inner and outer handle pin are different and
usually identified with embossed letters. The
screw-on part of the handle pin must be mounted
on the inside.

escape door function
The

without escape door function with door handles
which can engage and disengage on both sides
requires a continuous, non-split handle pin.
Multi-point lock 319 with E-function
The
multi-point lock 319
with E-function
(“E-function (reversing function)”, page 34) has a
continuous handle follower and requires a front
door fitting (outside with knob).
Lock cylinders
The length of the locking cylinder to be set is
determined from the door leaf thickness and the
inside and outside door plate thicknesses
(fittings).
The key withdrawal position (Pic. 9) of the locking
lever may not exceed 30° to the bottom left or
right.
