Preparation for mounting

. Prior to the installation of the
multi-point
lock 319
, the door must be checked to ensure that it is attached properly and is not warped. The door
must be approved for use of the
multi-point lock 319
.

Create the lock pocket at a suitable mounting position in the door leaf.

Finish the holes for the fixing screws (Pic. 17).

Finish the holes for the lock fittings.

Clean the lock pocket and all holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.
Install the multi-point lock 319

multi-point lock 319
in the lock pocket.

Fasten the lock fittings.
3 Check
the
multi-point lock 319
for ease of movement.
Once the striking plate is mounted, the
multi-point lock 319
is ready for use.
Mounting the striking plate

Finish the striking plate pocket and all holes or finish a customer-provided striking plate (“Production
of customer-provided striking plates”, page 48).

Clean the striking plate pocket and all holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.

Screw in the appropriate locking plate for the
multi-point lock 319
to be screwed in.
4 Check
the
multi-point lock 319
for ease of movement.
