Scanner and cradle indicators and beeps
The scanner and the cradle both feature various LED indicators,
assisting you to understand their operating status. The three tables on
this and the following page describe the various combinations.
Scanner indicators

Indication
Green LED
Flashing once per second
- The scanner is trying to
pair with the host, or pairing has been lost.
Flashing twice per second
- The scanner is in
Out-of-Range mode
, and the scanner is trying to
connection with the host, or the connection has been
lost.
Constantly on
- The scanner is paired.
Blue LED bars
One flash
– A barcode has been decoded, and is either
transferred to the PC or saved in memory by the
scanner.
Constantly on
- The scanner is in
Programming
Mode
.
First blue LED bar is constantly on
- The scanner is
either in
Standard Batch Mode
or in
Cradle Contact
Batch Mode
.
Red LED is constantly on
- When the scanner is in the
cradle, it indicates the scanner is under charging.
Third blue LED bar is constantly on
- when the
scanner is in the cradle, this indicates that charging is
complete.
Blue LED bars
Constantly on
- The scanner is transferring data to the
PC and is in either
Standard Batch Mode
or
Cradle
Contact Batch Mode
.
Two flashes every 3 seconds
- The scanner has a low
battery
