3. 

If using the VIPET-SERIAL-4 (SeaLINK 2403), install the unit as described bellow.  

a. 

Remove the unit’s feet. 

b. 

Remove 3 screws at the bottom of the unit. These screws will be used to fix the unit to the 
shelf. 

The shelf which is supplied for mounting the VIPET-SERIAL-4 interface supports two units. The 
screws to be removed depend on the unit’s position on the shelf. 

The positions of the screws to be removed are marked with X on the next drawing. 

c. 

Position the unit on the shelf.

d. 

Fix the unit to the shelf using the screws removed from the unit.

Fix the second unit (if used) following the same procedure. 

f. 

Fit the shelf to the rack on supporting rails, and secure the unit in position using the fixing 
screws.
