If using the BOB04 or BOB08, install the unit and connect the unit as described in the VIPET-AUDIO-
4/8 & BOB04/08 Product Manual.

Connect the wiring for control ports, signal monitoring, RS485, and RS232 cabling to the rear panel
connectors according to the application.

ETH0:
As standard, the VIPET uses Ethernet port ETH0.

EXP. 2:
As standard the RS232 interface type is enabled. This port can be disabled in order to enable
the RS485 (COM2/ttyS1) interface on the EXP. 1 port. The interface is enabled or disabled by
setting a link on the Watchdog Card (see Figure 4).
