Visual inspection of the electrical parts

29 V power cable and mains adapter (SMPS) not damaged

Strain relief/kink protection applied and tight

Connection cable (routing, damage, risk of getting caught)

All enclosures of the electrical system OK:
O‑rings; seals; no cracks on cases, fork heads and lift tubes

Controller firmly attached to back part drive and secured with the fixing screw

Replace 9 Volt block battery (alkaline manganese battery Type 6LR61)

All plug connections on the controller closed with connector with O‑ring or with dummy plugs with O‑ring

All drives securely attached (bolts and locking plate present)

Electrical inspection according to DIN EN 62353: 2008

Device leakage current – Alternative Method measurement: max. 500 µA
Note: Insulation resistance measurement must not be performed. Voltages of more than 1 kV can result in
damage.

Check of the first failure safety on the manual control unit
5.1
No adjustment of the bed must be possible in either position I or position II of the rotary switch when the
manual switch is operated.

Functional check

Side grills (installation, locking, safety distances, deflection)

Castors (easy running, no unusual noises)
