QUANTIFY/QUANTIZE A STYLE:
As the recording timing may not be completely accurate, quantization helps users to correct the timing by aligning the notes
to the exact beat. We’d suggest choosing the shortest note of the piece for quantize precision for the best result. If a longer
note is chosen, shorter notes in the piece may be filtered.
1. Select the user style that needs to be quantized. Press (FUNCTION/
NEXT) to enter the choice menu.
Use the (+/YES) or (-/NO) buttons or (DIAL) to select “Quantify”,
only when there is user data present.
2. Press (FUNCTION/NEXT) to enter the Quantization Precision menu
Use the (+/YES) or (-/NO) buttons or (DIAL) to select a quantize
precision. Precision’s include; 1/4 (quarter), 1/3 (Quarter
Triplet), 1/8 (Eighth), 1/8 (Eighth Triplet), 1/16 (Sixteenth),
1/16 (Sixteenth Triplet), 1/32 (32nd), 1/32 (32nd Triplet).
