START A STYLE:
1. Select style you want to play and press the (START/STOP) button
to start the style.
2. CHORD MODE:
Press the (CHORD MODE) button to enter the fingered mode (the LED
will light up). The left area of the keyboard is known as the chord area
or accompaniment range (see diagram).
In fingered mode, the bass and the chord voice are present.
Press the (CHORD MODE) button again to enter the full range mode
(the LED will light up).
In full mode the whole keyboard can be used to play chords.
Press the (CHORD MODE) button again to close the chord mode.
There are 2 ways to detect the chord; single finger detect and multi-
finger detect. Multi-finger detect shows the chord on the screen that
you are currently playing. Single-finger detect allows you to play a
whole chord with one or two fingers, one finger will play major and
minor chords and two fingers can be used to create suspended notes.
The single-finger detect function only works in the chord area of the keyboard
.
3. SYNC START:
Press the (SYNC/START) button, the sync start LED will light up and flash 4 beats of the current tempo. Press the (INTRO/
ENDING) button to insert an intro. Press any of the accompaniment keys to start the accompaniment.
4. INTRO START:
The introduction & fills (see next page) can be played in different styles. Set the style your after and press (INTRO/ENDING), then
press (START/STOP) to commence the style.
When a style is NOT playing, press the (INTRO/ENDING) button, “A” flashes on the LCD and indicates the intro is ready to play.
Press the (START/STOP) button to start the intro followed by the main accompaniment section.
