1. Installation

Important

The Asema M2 should be installed by a qualified electrician only.

1.1. Locating the leads and attaching the clamps

Locate the three incoming phases in the fuse box, going to the main fuse/power switch. Attach the
current clamps onto the leads as indicated by the installation diagram on the device. The clamps
are  attached  to  the  lead  only,  do  not  attach  them  to  the  neutral.  Note  the  numbering  on  the
clamps, this must match the numbering of the phases to correctly display the power consumption
of that phase.

1.2. Connecting to power

The Asema M2 is powered by 230V power from one of the phases. You may freely choose the
phase. Do not take power from the incoming phases, always draw the power from a lead located
behind a proper circuit breaker.
