3.5 Restoring Factory Defaults 

 

To restore the switch to its factory default settings, follow the commands shown in the following screen. 

COMMAND>

Important:

 To retain configuration changes after a system reload you must save changes made in running 

configuration. From the privileged level, configurations can be saved using the 

save

 command. 

The switch is ready for configuration. Refer to the following chapters for management and configuration information.
