The next step is the second and final coat of stucco which needs to be applied the same day as the first
coat. Leave 3– 4 hours between coats. Each coat is approximately 3/8” thick, giving a shell thickness of
approx 3/4” This is left to dry for 7 days then the waterproof flex-coat can be applied. This too is available
from us.
Other oven enclosure designs
Many other types of enclosure are possible. The main thing to remember is not to have any combustible
materials in the structure. If a framed structure is required use metal studs and fibre cement board. Below
