• Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of

about 10 m (30 feet). The maximum communication range
may vary depending on obstacles (a human body, piece of
metal, wall, etc.) and the electromagnetic environment.

• Bluetooth communications may fail under the following

circumstances:

º A human body is between the unit and the Bluetooth

device. A potential remedy is to orient the Bluetooth device
to face the unit’s antenna.

º An obstacle such as a piece of metal or a wall is between

the unit and the Bluetooth device.

• A device transmitting at 2.4 GHz, such as a Wi-Fi router,

cordless telephone or microwave oven, is operating near
the unit.

• Because Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) devices

employ the same frequency (2.4 GHz), microwave interference
may occur, causing noise or audio dropout or disabling
communications if the unit operates near a Wi-Fi device.
In such a case, try the following:

º Use the unit at least 10 m (30 feet) away from the

Wi-Fi device.

º If the unit is operating within 10 m (30 feet) of a Wi-Fi

device, turn off the Wi-Fi device.

º Install the unit and the Bluetooth device as close to each

other as possible.

• Microwaves emanating from a Bluetooth device may affect

electronic medical technology.

• Turn off the unit and other Bluetooth devices in the following

locations to avoid accidents:

º Where inflammable gas is present, such as hospitals and

gas stations

º Near automatic doors and fire alarms

• The Bluetooth device may not work with mobile phones,

depending on radio-wave conditions and the location where
the device is operating.

• Do not use a Bluetooth device on an airplane. Radio waves may

affect instruments, causing an accident due to malfunction.

• The unit supports security capabilities that comply with the

Bluetooth standard to provide a secure connection when using
the Bluetooth wireless technology, but these capabilities may
be insufficient in some settings. Be careful when communicat-
ing using Bluetooth wireless technology.

• Artec 3D is not responsible for theft or inadvertent disclosure

of information during Bluetooth communications.

• Connection to all Bluetooth devices cannot be guaranteed.

º A device featuring Bluetooth must conform to the

Bluetooth standard as specified by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.,
and be authenticated.

º Even if the connected device conforms to the above

mentioned Bluetooth standard, some devices may fail to
connect or work incorrectly, depending on their features
and specifications.

• Depending on the device to be connected, communications

may take some time to commence.t

• Generally, most problems can be solved by reconnecting

the power cable to the turntable.

• When in use, the turntable makes a soft buzzing sound;

this is normal.

• In cases where the turntable and Bluetooth fail to connect,

check whether your computer’s Bluetooth capability
is enabled.

• Place the object at the center of the turntable to avoid

causing the device to operate improperly.

• It the turntable does not rotate, check the Bluetooth

connection.

Troubleshooting

Bluetooth Connection

• Avoid using Artec Turntable continuously for an extended

period.

• Only use Artec 3D adapters. Artec 3D is not responsible for any

problems caused by the use of parts or products not approved
by the company.

• Do not use force when plugging in the adapter or power

connector.

• Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform,

puncture, shred, microwave or incinerate the product.

• Do not place on the turntable objects exceeding the maximum

weight (3 kg).

• Do not place objects on the turntable when it is rotating. Stop

the turntable first.

• When using the turntable, place objects at the center to avoid

damaging the device.

• When not using the turntable for long periods, remove all

objects. Unplug the cable from the turntable when storing.

• Placing a heavy object on the turntable for long periods can

damage the device.

• Do not put heavy weight or pressure on the unit during storage,

as it may cause the unit to deform.

• Do not turn the rotary plate manually.

• Do not touch the turntable while it is rotating.

• Do not subject the unit to excessive shocks.

• Do not expose the unit to extremely high or low temperatures.

• Do not leave the unit in direct sunlight for an extended periods.

• Do not leave the unit in a car for long periods. Doing so may

cause a malfunction.

• Clean the unit only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use

abrasive cleaners.

• Do not expose the unit to water; it is not waterproof.

• Do not expose the unit to humidity, dust, soot or steam.

• This product is not edible.

• Do not put the turntable in a microwave oven, dishwasher,

washing machine or dryer.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not attempt to handle the plug or power connector

with wet hands.

• Do not expose the turntable to water, alcohol, benzene

or any other chemical.

• Do not expose the turntable to fire or flammable substances.

• Do not store the turntable close to high-heat sources.

• Do not use the unit in humid locations or in bad weather,
