Congratulations, you have acquired an energy efficient system and
as soon as you install and operate it, you will be making an
effective contribution to the environment. This heating panel must
be used with a thermostat, which can be purchased independently
or supplied by us. If you’d like to order a thermostat from us, simply
visit us at ArtofHeat.com/thermostats. Your new Far Infrared (FIR)
heating system is easy to install and will be completely free of
maintenance, for many years. To ensure the safe installation and
operation of this appliance, please read the instructions prior to
installation. This manual contains important and essential
information about the installation of your system. Expect to take
some time to adjust to this beneficial form of heating your new
panel provides.
Upon initial start up, you may find that cold objects (walls, furniture,
ceilings, and floors) need to be warmed first; so you may not feel
even warmth until after those objects are heated. Allow up to a few
hours at first use for heating conditions to stabilize. If properly
located, your thermostat will run your heating panel until a
comfortable indoor climate has been reached. As soon as the solid
areas have been warmed, the room will become comfortable and
the thermostat will automatically reduce the running time of your
heating panel. Note: due to the direct heating effect of Art of Heat
panels, you may actually discover you prefer the room
temperature set to a slightly lower temperature. Studies have
shown this can be up to 2 degrees celsius (3.6 degrees fahrenheit)
lower; however, there is no hard and fast rule, and you can set your
thermostat to your personal preference.
