4.5 Oxygen sensor calibraon
AGer the self check the following “OXYGEN Sensor Calibraon“ menu is presented. If calibraon of the O
2
sensor is required, press “Yes”, if not required select “No”. The device’s paramagnec O
2
sensor is
sensive to movement. The manufacturer recommends calibrang the O
2
sensors aGer transportaon of
the device or if it has been subject to any form of rough handling.
CAUTION
•
Do not disconnect the mains power plug during the O
2
calibraon.
•
AGer starng the calibraon the touch screen is disabled unl the calibraon procedure is
complete.
The calibraon procedure takes 75 seconds. An on screen count down mer indicates me leG unl
compleon of the calibraon procedure.
The calibraon process requires a supply of both AIR and O
2
gas. If either gas supply is not available
when calibraon is iniated, the “Calibrate Failure” message will be presented on screen.
WARNING
Before starng the calibraon roune, ensure that the paent is disconnected from the device.
NOTE Ambient air may influence O2 sensor calibraon, to prevent this, connect a tube to the gas output
port.
