Access your Arlo account

. If you can’t access your account with a trusted device to view the push
notifications, or if you can’t receive SMS text messages, you can request to have a security
code sent to the email associated with your Arlo account.
Set up and use two-step verification from your phone
Before you first set up two-step verification, make sure you can log in to the email that you’re
using for your Arlo account. Email is your backup two-step verification option.
To enable two-step verification from your mobile device:
1.
Open the Arlo app.
2. Tap
Settings
>
Profile > Login Settings > Two-Step Verification
.
3. Tap the switch next to
Enable
.
4. Select
Push Notification
and/or
SMS Text Message
as your verification method.
Note:
Your Arlo account email is an automatic back-up option.

Follow the instructions in the app to complete your two-step verification setup.
Set up and two-step verification from your computer
Note:
Push notification verification cannot be enabled on my.arlo.com. You must use the Arlo
app to enable push notification verification.
To enable two-step verification from your computer:

Log in to my.arlo.com.
2. Click
Settings
>
Profile > Login Settings > Two-Step Verification

.
4. Click
Add SMS Verification
as your verification method.
Note:

Add a trusted device for two-step verification
A trusted device is one of your primary personal devices that you use to log in to your Arlo
account and to manage access to your Arlo account from new devices. When you access your
Arlo account from a trusted device, you don’t have to verify your login.
