General Warnings
WARNING
The age, size and condition of the patient should be assessed by a competent
clinically qualified person before using the trolley, giving particular consideration to
appropriate use of the safety sides.
Do not use accessories that are not designed or approved for use with the trolley.
Always apply the brakes when the trolley is stationary.
Raise the safety sides before moving the trolley with a patient.
Children and restless or disorientated patients should not be left unattended at any
time.
Before turning (rolling) a patient on the trolley or performing a lateral transfer, adjust
the mattress platform to a comfortable working height; be aware that the trolley may
overbalance if the patient’s weight is not evenly distributed across the mattress
platform.
