To Use the Toilet with Carino, Follow these 10
Steps.

Place the
Carino
with the resident close to the toilet.
(See Fig. 1)

Raise the chair to a comfortable height for the caregiver.
(See Fig. 2)

Position the
Carino
directly over the toilet bowl using the
transfer handles on the arm rests. Lower the chair and apply
the castor brakes.
(See Fig. 2)

When the resident is ready, release the brakes and remove
the chair from the toilet bowl.

Raise the
Carino
.

Apply the castor brakes again.

Clean and dry the resident.

Lower the
Carino
.
9
Release the brakes.
10 Ready for transfer.
WARNING
To avoid entrapment or pinching of genitals, make
sure there is enough clearance during movement
over the tub edge, toilet, bedpan or other furniture.
