4. Undo the hand wheel (5) on the pulley assembly and open the clamp.
5. Position the pulley assembly on the upright pole, so the spigot inside the clamp fits into one
of the holes (6).
6. Close the clamp around the pole and tighten the hand wheel firmly.
7. Use the pulley (7) to support traction cords and weights as required. If necessary, disable
bed functions (tilt, height and backrest angle) using the ACP – refer to the bed instructions
for use.
WARNING
Make sure the fixing screws and hand wheel are properly tightened
before use.
Do not allow traction weights or cords to touch the bed frame,
floor, bedside furniture, etc. when operating the bed controls.
Do not move the bed while traction equipment is in use unless
authorised by a clinically qualified person.
Do not exceed the accessory’s safe working load of 20kg.
