If using extension cords, they need to be suitable for the power of the appliance so •
as to prevent risks to the operator and for the safety of the environment. Unsuitable
extension cords may lead to operating anomalies lead to malfunctions during use.
The appliance and relevant power cord must never come into contact with moisture as •
there is a risk of electric shock. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Make sure that the plug socket is in an easily accessible place so that the appli-

ance can be unplugged quickly if necessary. Route the power cord so that it can-
not be tripped over.
HAZARD from other causes
Never place the appliance on or close to sources of heat. •
Always place the appliance on a flat, level surface during use. •
