Collection and Input of Project Data Into the TMSO
The TMSO.IM are attached to the tree with
chipboard screws. The screw is inserted
through the screw sleeve of the device and
screwed into the tree, e.g. with a cordless
screwdriver.
CAUTION!
The screws should NOT be tightened as
tight as possible, but only hand-tightened,
otherwise the device could be damaged!
When using a cordless screwdriver, do not
start with the highest torque level, but
tighten at a low level and only if the device
does not yet hold securely tighten at a
higher level! It is completely sufficient if the
device can no longer be turned around the
screw by hand or if it wobbles!
The supplied screws are 8 cm long, which
makes it possible to fix the units securely
even on trees with thick, brittle bark, as
they reach right into the wood.
If trees are to be fitted with thin bark (e.g.
birch), it is recommended to buy shorter
screws to avoid unnecessary damage to
the tree!
CAUTION!
When buying screws, please note that they
have a diameter of max. 5 mm. In addition, chipboard screws with countersunk head
WITHOUT milling ribs on the underside of the head should be used, as otherwise the screw
sleeves of the devices may be damaged in the long run.
