8. Loosen the clamp securing the throttle body to the

intake manifold boot; then remove the throttle body

and set aside.

9. From the left side, disconnect the ECT sensor con-

nector, speed sensor connector, and spark plug cap.

the cap screws securing the shift cable bracket to the

engine case. Remove the shift cable from the shift

arm and disconnect the gear position switch connec-
