NOTE: Before attempting to
adjust suspension, clean dirt and
debris from the sleeve and remove
load from the suspension; then use
the spanner wrench to adjust the
sleeve to the desired position.
2. On the 700 to adjust air pressure on
the rear shock absorbers, connect the
air pump to the valve fitting on the
top of the shock absorber and pump
(to increase pressure) or depress
bleed valve (to decrease pressure)
until desired pressure is achieved.
NOTE: For proper air pressure in
rear shocks, use the following rec-
ommended settings. The vehicle
must be on the ground with no load
in cargo box. Do not rapidly fill
shocks. Shocks may lose air over
time. Check pressure periodically.

General Lubrication
Cables
None of the cables require lubrication;
however, it is advisable to lubricate the
ends of the cables periodically with a
good cable lubricant.
Cargo Box Latches
Periodically apply a light coat of grease
to the latches and pins. Do not over
grease.
Engine/Transmission Oil
and Filter
NOTE: Refer to the recommended
oil viscosity chart (on page 36) in
this manual for the proper engine oil.
Change the engine oil and oil filter at the
scheduled intervals. The engine should
always be warm when the oil is changed
so the oil will drain easily and completely.
1. Park the vehicle on level ground.
2. Remove the seat; then remove the
backrest and seat base.
3. Loosen the oil fill cap (700) or oil
level stick (500). Be careful not to
allow contaminants to enter the
opening.
