Gasoline /oil /lubricant
Recommended gasoline
The recommended gasoline to use
in gasoline vehicles: 91 octane (in
EU) and for Diesel vehicles: 42-50
cetane.
Recommended engine and trans-
mission oil (except 700 Diesel)
The recommended oil to use in
this ATV is an oil which is rated
SE, SF or SG under API service
classifi cation. These oils meet all
of the lubrication requirements of
the Arctic Cat ATV engine. The re-
commended engine oil viscosity is
SAE 10W-40. Ambient temperature
should determine the correct weight
of oil. See the viscosity chart or an
authorized Arctic Cat ATV dealer
for details.
!! CAUTION !!
Any oil used in place of the recom-
mended oil could cause serious
engine damage.
!! CAUTION !!
You should change the engine
and transmission oil of your ATV
every 500km (and 1500 km later
on). Please respect in this regard
the maintenance schedule in your
service booklet.
700 Diesel:
Engine oil: SAE 10W-40
Transmission oil: 80W90 Hypoid

Arctic Cat recommends the use of
of genuine Arctic Cat lubricants.
Recommended Differential Lub-
ricant (4 x 4)
The recommended lubricant for the
differential is SAE approved 80W-
90 hypoid. This lubricant meets all
of the lubrication requirements of
the Arctic Cat ATV.
!! CAUTION !!
Any lubricant used in place of the
recommended lubricant could cau-
se serious differential damage.
