Watch Care and Precautions
1.
The watch will start working with the rotation of rotor on the movement. We suggest
winding the watch by using the crown in clockwise direction for around 30-40 times to
give full power to the mainspring. The movement comes with a mechanism that does not
allow over winding.
2.
The movement can give a power reserve of up to 42 hours. To maintain and get the most
out of this, it is recommended to wind the watch using crown especially when the watch
is not worn regularly and has been in a stationary position for too long.
3.
We strongly advise not to change date between 8:00pm and 3:00am as this could damage
teeth on the date wheel that might have got engaged in preparation for the date change.
If you need to change the date, move the hours hands either before 8:00pm or after
3:00am and follow instructions as mentioned in the manual.
4.
It is not recommended to wear your watch in extreme conditions like jacuzzi steam or
sauna rooms as steam can penetrate through water resistance gaskets in both front and
back glass.
5.
Although our watches are built to withstand a pressure of 5 ATM, diving or jumping in
water exerts great amount of pressure and could damage the seals.
6.
Genuine leather straps are not water proof and it could get damaged if submerged in
water.
7.
The water resistance of a timepiece protects the movement from dust, moisture and risk
of damage should be immersed in water.
8.
It is important not to adjust the position of the crown while the timepiece is in contact
with water. Water can enter the case and cause damage to the watch.
9.
The accuracy of your watch might get affected in magnetic fields. It is recommended to
keep Automatic mechanical watches away from magnets and electrical equipment.
10.
It is also important to avoid extreme shock or impact.
