2. Before installing the fan into the roof opening, apply a continuous strip of BUTYL tape or
equivalent to the underside of the flange, making sure to cover the screw holes. (Figure 2)
3. Connect the vehicle's 12 Volt power to the two wires on the fan. (Figure 3)
Connecting to non-12 volt DC power or electrode connection error may damage the fan, injury
to persons or cause property loss. This situation will invalid the warranty. The white wire with a
tag showing (+) must be connected to the vehicle 12 volt (+) positive supply.
