FROM OUTSIDE:
If you have a
STATIC PUBLIC IP,
it is necessary that the Touch Controller can exchange
information through the router. Therefore we must open a port on the router in order to grant the
communication from and to the external world.
To open the router port, please refer to the instruction manual of your own router. For any further
explanation please contact your email provider Customer Service.
Once the port is open (e.g. port n. 9000) you may continue with the Touch Controller settings.
Usually it is necessary to make a Port Forwarding Rule on the router settings:
- Name of Rule: of your choice (for example aquatronica).
- Device IP: You have to set the Touch Controller IP. You can find it on GENERAL->SETUP->IP ADDRESS.
- External Port (for example 9000).
- Internal Port 80.
When the EXTERNAL port is open into the router settings, it is possible to access from an outside device
opening a Web browser and writing into the address bar: IP PUBLIC:EXTERNAL PORT
(for example 215.165.92.38:9000).

In order to use the service, registration is required (and
free). Enter the Remote access menu of your Touch
Controller (Main Menu -> Ethernet-> Remote Access) and
input:
- A username of your choice.
- A password of your choice.
- Router access port number (the one you previously open).
Once the required details are completed, click on SEND
REGISTRATION. Your Touch Controller has now been
registered on the Aquatronica website with the username
and password you have chosen.
