7. Technical data
Unit:
reactor
Code-No.:
71111
CO
2
-connection port:
6/4 mm
Water connection
10 mm
Water flow:
min. 500 l/h (125 gph), max. 1,000 l/h (250 gph)
Holding system:
rubber sucker
The unit is designed for aquariums up to 500 l (120 gal) and 10°KH (4 mmol alcalinity). It can be
increased with up to 4 enlargements. Each enlargement will increase the capacity for 300 l (80
gal).
8. Reactor tube assembly
1.
Attach both rubber suckers (3).
2.
Put the adapter (2) onto the water connection (8).
Hint:
The adapter can also be attached to the water circuit by using hose connections. Suitable for
this are silicone hoses (see Fig. 4).
3.
Attach filter or circulating pump with a piece of hose to the output adapter tube. Minimum
output for the circulation device through the output adapter is 100 l/h. Please consider that a
filter with a minimum power of 500 l/h is necessary if 100 - 200 l/h shall be present at the
discharge.
4.
Attach the CO
2
tube to the CO
2
connection (9).
5.
Remove the cap (7).
6.
Place
reactor
assembly into aquarium.
Hint:
Submerge the
reactor
until it is filled with water completely before it will be attached by the
suckers.
7.
Put the cap (7) onto the connection (10).
8.
Turn on the circulation pump/filter unit.
Warning:
Close the CO
2
hose to prevent water
leakage.
