Operation of the ball valves
On the bottom side of the base are two ball valves for the in- and outlet
connectors. The levers should only be fitted temporarily during setup to
avoid unwanted operation by children or domestic animals. It is not ne-
cessary to use the enclosed screws.
After equipping the valves with the levers you can close the valves. Turn
the valve on the left (see photo) to the left,
turn the right one to the right
until they stop
. When both valves
are closed the levers stand in
line.
Opening is made by turning the levers into the origin position. The open
condition is indicated by
levers
standing in parallel to each other and to
the flow direction. It is recommend to use sealing caps (our item number
63020) to prevent leakage from the tubes when
they get
disconnected
from the aquaduct. The tubes should always be
disconnected and
closed one after another with ball valves in closed position
. This will
considerably reduce the amount of water leaking from the tubes while
disconnecting.
