Battery Optimization
Observe the following battery saving tips:
1.
Set the screen to turn off after a short period of non-use. See
Setting Screen Timeout Setting on
page 37

2.
Reduce screen brightness. See

.
3.
Turn off all wireless radios when not in use.
4.
Turn off automatic syncing for Email, Calendar, Contacts and other applications.
5.
Minimize use of applications that keep the

811 from suspending, for example, music and video
applications.
To turn off all the radios
1.
Swipe down with a finger from the status bar to open the quick settings panel.
2.
Touch
Airplane mode.
The airplane icon appears in the Status bar indicating that all the radios are
off.

Press and hold the power button
for 3 seconds, you can see the booting animation.
Do not turn off the device by removing the battery, as this may damage the device.
To turn the screen on or off, press the Power button.
