RMC
Digital Inputs:
The totally 8 digital Inputs are connected as follows:
Inputs 1 and 2 have a 24V supplied (10mA max) for powering external sensors, e.g. a
smoke detector.
Inputs 3 and 4 are potential free.
Inputs 5, 6, 7 and 8 have the same characteristics as Input 1 und 2.
The 24 VDC supply voltage is protected against short circuits.
Important:
Consider the configuration
“normally open”
or
“normally closed”
. If there is 24VDC
supplied to an input, the RMC recognizes
this condition as
“ON”.
Choose
“normally
closed”
when this corresponds to the
standard condition.
Analogue Inputs:
The 4 analogue inputs are connected as follows:
Input 1, 2 and 3 are for temperature sensors. The RMC is configured to recognize the
temperature sensors listed on the accessories list.
Input 4 is designed for a sensor which supplies a signal of 4-20 mA e.g. a humidity sensor.
The 24 VDC supply voltage is protected against short circuits, the 4-20 mA input is
protected against over current.
Important:
If there is only one temperature sensor
connected, it has to be installed on analogue
input 1 (Connector 17 + 18).
Connector 23: +24V
Connector 24: 4-20 mA
Connector 25: 0V
