G-FLEX DOCKLIGHT™, basic safety precautions

should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,

lowing:

1.

It is recommended that two hands are used for

positioning the neck and light head.

2.

Unplug and allow to cool before replacing parts.

3.

Use only with approved service parts.

4.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: Dry

Location Use.

This docklight is rated 120V, 50/60 Hz. Check electrical

service running to the installation area to assure it

agrees with the correct voltage and electrical load for

the G-FLEX DOCKLIGHT™.

For best operation, APS Resource recommends that

the docklight be mounted such that the flexible arm is

oriented upward.

INSTALLATION

1.  Select a sturdy mounting location suitable to

support the weight of the fixture.

•

The docklight requires a 9" wide x 6" high flat

surface for mounting the base of the light.

•

The docklight base should be mounted at

a height that allows a dock worker to easily

position the light fixture into the trailer being

serviced.  For typical applications, the

docklight base will be approximately 4 feet

above the dock floor.

•

The docklight base should be mounted as

close to the door opening as possible without

interfering with the operation of the door, or

any other equipment. A standoff bracket (P/N

AP6840) is included with the docklight, and

may be required for some applications.
