Remove the two fasteners located at the top of
the enclosure.
3.
Slide the enclosure cover along the flexible arm
to expose the backplate.
4.
Use 1/4" fasteners or anchors to secure the
fixture to the mounting surface.
The wire guard is secured to the plastic lamp shade
using a special security type fastener which helps
deter theft of lamps.
5.
Locate the security fastener removal tool which is
attached to the backplate inside the enclosure.
6.
Use the tool to remove the security fastener from
the lamp shade.
7.
Rotate the wire guard to allow the wire guard to
pass through the small slot in the shade.
8.
Install (or replace) the lamp.
9.
Reinstall the wire guard and security fastener.
10.
Return the security fastener tool to its proper
location.
11.
Reinstall the enclosure cover and fasteners
located at the top of the enclosure.
12.
Apply power to the docklight.
13.
Use the ON/OFF switch located on the base of
the docklight to turn the docklight on and off.
SERVICE
The wire guard is secured to the plastic lamp shade
using a special security type fastener which helps
deter theft of lamps.
To replace the lamp, follow the instructions listed in
the INSTALLATION section of this manual.
To ensure proper function, durability and safety of the
product, only replacement parts that do not interfere
with the safe, normal operation of the product must be
used. Incorporation of replacement parts or modifica
-
tions that weaken the structural integrity of the prod-
uct, or in any way alter the product from its normal
working condition at the time of purchase from APS
Resource could result in product malfunction, break-
down, premature wear, death or serious injury.
