CONTROLS ON THE RIGHT HAND
GRIP

ENGINE STOP SWITCH (

)
Use the engine stop switch to stop the
engine only in case of emergency. It is
essential that you be very familiar with
t h i s c o n t r o l s o t h a t y o u w i l l
automatically stop the engine in the
event of a stuck throttle or other engine
runaway.
WARNING
If the throttle sticks open, it may cause
a collision with another vehicle, or an
upset.
If the throttle sticks, kill the engine with
the engine stop switch located on the
right handlebar.
Do not attempt to restart the engine
until the throttle has been repaired and
works perfectly.
Failure to observe this warning can lead
to a r un a way r e s ul ti ng in s e r io us
injuries or even death.
Your vehicle is equipped with a double
cable throttle. One cable opens the throttle
when you rotate the throttle grip towards
you; the other closes the throttle when you
r o t a t e t h e g r i p a wa y f r o m y o u . I t i s
essential, when you release the throttle
grip, that it automatically return to the idle
position. This double cable arrangement
enhances safety by providing for positive
closing of the throttle.
WARNING
In the event of a throttle sticking
emergency, always kill the engine using
the engine stop switch located near the
throttle grip on the right handlebar.
Never use your vehicle if the throttle
does not automatically fully return to
the idle position when the throttle grip
is released. Contact your Local

Dealer for repairs. Failure to observe
this warning can lead to a serious
accident and result in injury or even
death.
WARNING
Do not use the engine stop switch to
stop the engine while the vehicle is
moving.
With the switch (1) on “
” (ON) it is
possible to start the engine. The engine
can be stopped by moving the switch (1) to
“
” (OFF).
CAUTION

ignition switch.
Leave the engine stop switch (1) on
“
” (ON) and use it only in case of
emergency.
Do not leave the ignition on if you have
stopped the engine for emergency by
moving the engine stop switch to
“
” (OFF)
as this will discharge the
battery.
When, for emergency, the vehicle has
come to rest after stopping the engine
with the engine stop switch, turn the
ignition switch to “
” (OFF).

STARTER SWITCH (

When the starter switch is pressed, the
starter engages and the engine will
