CAUTION

When refitting, make sure that the lens
fits properly into its slot. Tighten the
screw (1) gradually. Do not overtighten
to avoid damaging the lens.

Push down the bulb (3) gently and twist
counterclockwise.
Extract the bulb (3) from its seat.

CAUTION

When fitting the bulb, make sure that
the two locating pegs fit properly into
the slots in the bulb holder.

Install a new bulb of equal rating.

CAUTION

If the reflector (4) comes off its seat,
refit it correctly.

REPLACING THE LICENSE PLATE 
LIGHT BULB

Read page 129 (BULBS) carefully.

Place the vehicle on the stand, see page
77 (PLACING THE VEHICLE ON THE
STAND).
Remove the passenger seat / glove/tool
kit compartment cover, see page 45
(GLOVE/TOOL KIT COMPARTMENT).

CAUTION

Never pull on the wiring to extract a
bulb holder.

Extract the license plate light bulb holder
(5).
Remove the bulb and fit a new one with
equal rating.

NOTE 

Make sure that the bulb fits

correctly into the bulb holder.
