To carry out a quick pad check:
•
Park the vehicle on its centre
stand.
•
Carry out a visual inspection of
brake disc and pads.
With a lamp and a mirror, proceed:
Front brake calliper
- From the front bottom side for the left
pad « A »;
- From the front top side for the right pad
«
B »
Rear brake calliper
- From the back top side for both pads
« C ».
Voor het uitvoeren van een snelle con-
trole van de slijtage van de pastilles:
•
Plaats het voertuig op de cen-
trale standaard.
•
Voer een visieve controle uit
tussen de remschijf en de pas-
tilles.
Gebruik een lamp en een spiegeltje voor
de controle:
Tang van de voorrem
- Van onder vooraan voor de linker pas-
tille « A »;
- Langs boven vooraan voor de rechter
pastille «
B ».
Achterste remtang
- Achteraan langs boven voor beide pas-
tilles « C ».

Replace both brake pads when the fric-
tion material is worn (even if it is only one
brake pad) to about 1.5 mm.
CAUTION
EXCESSIVE WEAR OF THE FRICTION
MATERIAL MAKES THE PAD METAL
SUPPORT GET INTO CONTACT WITH
THE DISC, WHICH RESULTS IN A
METALLIC NOISE AND SPARKS IN
THE CALLIPER; THEREFORE, BRAK-
ING EFFICIENCY AND DISC SAFETY
AND INTEGRITY ARE AT RISK.
Wanneer de dikte van het wrijvingsmate-
riaal (ook van slechts één pastille) ver-
minderd is tot ongeveer 1,5 mm, moeten
beide pastilles vervangen worden.
LET OP
EEN VERDER VERBRUIK VAN HET
WRIJVINGSMATERIAAL KAN HET
CONTACT VEROORZAKEN MET DE
METALEN STEUN VAN DE PASTIL-
LES MET DE SCHIJF, MET ALS GE-
VOLG LAWAAI VAN METAAL EN DE
TANG DIE VONKEN MAAKT; DE
DOELTREFFENDHEID VAN HET REM-
