Operating on both sides, loosen the
swingarm pin tightening nut.

Working on the left side, unscrew and
remove the nut and collect the washer.

Working from the right side of the ve-
hicle, unscrew and remove the nut and
retrieve the washer.
•
Then loosen the tightening ring with the
suitable special key.

Tools for the swingarm nut adjustment
•
Lightly tap with a rubber hammer, slide the swingarm pin off the left side of the vehicle.
•
If necessary, remove the rear mudguard and the chainguard.

Support the vehicle with the optional
rear stand.
•
Loosen the chain tension, by unscrew-
ing the rear adjuster screws.
•
Identify the master link; slide off the
clip.
•
Remove the plate underneath.
•
Collect the chain.
