Use of a new battery (04_24, 04_25)
CHECK THAT THE BATTERY LEADS AND TERMINALS ARE:
- IN GOOD CONDITION (NOT CORRODED OR COVERED BY DEPOSITS);
- COVERED BY NEUTRAL GREASE OR PETROLEUM JELLY.
CAUTION
UPON REFITTING, CONNECT THE LEAD TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL (+) FIRST
AND AFTERWARDS THE LEAD TO THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL (-).

If the helmet compartment was closed, open it.
•
Place the battery (7) in its housing.
•
Fasten the positive cable (6) to the positive terminal (+), tightening the screw
(5).
•
Fasten the negative cable (4) to the negative terminal (-), tightening the screw
(3).
•
Position the battery cover (2).
•
Tighten the two fixing screws (1) for the battery cover.
•
Close the helmet compartment.

NOT NEED ANY INTERVENTION, EXCEPT FOR SPORADIC CHECKS AND RE-
CHARGE.
