Brake arm adjustment
Turn adjusting screw (4) with a screwdriver.
The following operation applies to both brake arms.
Turn in the screw to move the brake arm away from
the rim.
Turn out the screw to move the brake arm towards the
rim.
REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL
ASSEMBLY
Read through the section PRECAUTIONS AND
GENERAL INFORMATION.
When removing and refitting the wheel, take care not
to damage other parts of the vehicle.
Detach cable guide tube (1), which is anchored to
brake arm (2), after manually bringing the brake unit
into braking position.
Make sure the vehicle is stable.
Levering derailleur (3) as shown in the figure, remove
chain (4) from sprocket wheel (5).
Loosen nuts (6) without removing them to allow rear
wheel (7) to be removed while the brake arms are
parted.
