10.2.

Upgrade

Firmware upgrade involves

two

operations which must be

both

carried out (order doesn't matter):

1) FPGA/Frontpanel (via USB and command line tool)
2) Dante upgrade (via Dante network connection)

1. The FPGA and Control firmware is updated via the USB port.

Connect the MVR-64 via USB to your PC and run

MVR-64-Updater.bat

(on Windows)

or

sudo ./MVR-64-Updater.sh

(on Linux)

and follow the instructions on the screen.

Mac users

: The updater runs also in a bootcamp Windows session, when both

COM ports are mapped to windows.

2. The Dante firmware is updated using the

Dante Firmware Update Manager

(available for Windows and Mac). The MVR must be connected to the Dante
network. Select "Update Firmware" and choose the

MVR-64-x.x.x.x.dnt

file (can be found in the "firmware" folder in the firmware ZIP file).
