5.1.3 Setup

Click on the

Setup

button on the home page to proceed to the advanced settings.

5.1.3.1 Wizard

To quickly configure your Video Server, click

Wizard

on the top of the Setup pages.

This wizard will guide you through a step-by-step process to configure your new Video Server and

connect the Video Server to the Internet.

Click

Next

to continue.

Step 1:

The Video Server default setting is DHCP

. Use the DHCP protocol if the DHCP server is

working in the LAN. The Video Server will obtain an IP address automatically from the DHCP

server. Or you can turn the DHCP

Off

to build the Video Server working environment with an static

IP address. The default static IP is

192.168.1.168.

You can set an IP address for the Video Server

if the LAN unit isn’t connected to a DHCP server.
