10. Network Viewer and Image Viewer (FOR DVR-3011T ONLY)

This section provides instructions for installing and using the Network Viewer, and Image Viewer, which are

included with the DVR-3011T. The programs can be operated by a selected PC equipped with the following

requirements.

1. Intel Pentium 233MHz at least.

2. 32 MB RAM

3. Window 95, 98, NT, and ME.

4. 4 MB Video card capable of 24-bit true color display.

5. 5 MB free hard-disk space for software installation.

6. 10-base T network for LAN operation.

10.1 The Network Viewer

10.1.1 Introduction to Network Viewer

The Network Viewer allows you to potentially access 16 units of the DVR-3011T from a remote desktop or a

laptop in a TCP/IP networking environment. It can perform the following functions.

View live images from the DVR-3011T

Store, search, and review recorded video from the DVR-3011T HDD.

Change the regular record, event record, and timer properties.

Before you are ready to view images from a desktop, you need to have your DVR-3011T networked by

obtaining a 10 base Ethernet data cable (Standard RJ-45) to connect the DVR-3011T to your LAN/WAN.

Now enter the main menu to set the IP address.
